What is your cancellation policy?
For local moves, at least 48 hours’ notice is required to be eligible for a full refund of your deposit. If that notice is provided and we are able to fill your booking with another job, your deposit may be returned.
For interstate moves, 14 days’ notice is required to receive a full refund of your deposit.
How much notice do Brisk need upon booking?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time. For local Brisbane moves, 2 to 4 weeks’ notice is typically appropriate. For interstate moves, allow a minimum of 4 weeks.
If you require a last-minute booking and we have availability, we will do our best to accommodate your move.
I don’t have time to pack, can you pack for me?
If you are based in Brisbane, we can arrange packing services for you. If you are located outside the area, we can recommend a trusted provider. Speak with your salesperson about pre-packing options.
Do I need insurance?
Transit insurance is included and provides cover if the vehicle is involved in a serious incident, such as a rollover or collision. It does not include cover for accidental damage or damage to TV screens.
If you require more comprehensive protection, you will need to arrange additional insurance before your move, which can be organised through CARTS Insurance.
I want to take out insurance for the move, do I have to take it out with your provider?
No, you are not required to use our provider. You may choose any insurer, and we can suggest an option if you would like guidance.
Will my home & contents policy cover the move or storage of my goods?
It may, depending on your policy. You should check directly with your insurer to confirm the level of cover available.
Do you provide transit insurance, what does it cover?
Yes, transit insurance is included and provides cover for total loss if the vehicle is involved in a major incident, such as a rollover.

Do you do corporate/office moves?
Yes, we carry out both office and corporate removals. Speak with your salesperson to discuss your requirements or arrange a quote.
How would you handle precious and delicate items?
Delicate items are assessed individually. We usually secure these items with protective materials, such as bubble wrap, during the pre-packing stage before moving day. In some situations, heavier coverings are avoided if they could place unnecessary pressure on delicate surfaces.
Will my move be completed in a single day?
Most moves are completed within one day. Larger moves or long-distance relocations may require additional time depending on the size and scope.
What happens if my belongings don't fit into a single load?
Before your moving day, we review the size of your move and may suggest allocating extra trucks or team members where needed. If everything cannot be transported in one trip, we will organise a follow-up run or schedule another truck to ensure all items are delivered.
What items are you unable to move?
We are unable to transport:
- Commercial fridges
- Items exceeding 100 kg, unless prior conditions are met
- Flammable goods such as gas bottles, fuel, oil, and paint
- Opened or unsealed food items
Do you work on weekends or public holidays?
Our team operates from Monday through Saturday. We do not operate on public holidays.
Do you move interstate?
Yes, we handle interstate moves from Brisbane to Melbourne and from Melbourne to Brisbane, operating Monday to Saturday in both directions.
How far out of Brisbane do you travel?
For local moves, we service areas within 300km of our Geebung base for both pickup and delivery. If your move falls outside this range, contact us to discuss your options. Availability depends on scheduling at the time of booking.
