Yes, a fixed quote may be possible depending on the details of your move. Your dedicated operations manager can review the details of your move and let you know which quoting option applies to your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

For local relocations, your deposit may be refundable when at least 48 hours’ notice is given and we are able to replace the booking with another job. Interstate moves require 14 days’ notice for a full deposit refund.

How much notice do Brisk need upon booking?

Accepted Answer

We suggest booking early so there is enough time to arrange your preferred date, moving crew and truck. For local Brisbane relocations, 2 to 4 weeks ahead is generally a good timeframe. For interstate moves, it is better to allow at least 4 weeks.

If your move is coming up sooner, we will still try to help where our booking schedule allows.

I don’t have time to pack, can you pack for me?

Yes, packing services can be arranged for Brisbane customers. If your location sits outside our service area, we may be able to recommend a trusted packing provider. Your operations manager can explain the pre-packing options available for your move.

Do I need insurance?

Accepted Answer

Transit insurance is included in your move. It applies to major vehicle events such as a collision or rollover, although it does not cover accidental damage or specific damage types such as cracked screens.
If you want better coverage, you can arrange separate insurance before moving day. We recommend CARTS Insurance.

I want to take out insurance for the move, do I have to take it out with your provider?

Accepted Answer

No, we may recommend an option, but you are not required to use it. You can arrange cover through an insurance provider of your choice.

Will my home & contents policy cover the move or storage of my goods?

Coverage depends on your individual policy, so it is worth checking with your insurer before moving day. They can confirm whether your goods are covered during relocation or while in storage.

Do you provide transit insurance, what does it cover?

Transit insurance is included with your booking and covers total loss if the moving vehicle is involved in a major incident, such as a road accident or rollover.

How would you handle precious and delicate items?

Accepted Answer

Precious and delicate belongings are considered according to their size, weight, material and condition. This helps our removalists decide the safest way to protect, carry and transport each item.

Fragile items may be wrapped in protective materials during pre-packing, including bubble wrap where suitable. If a heavier covering could place pressure on a delicate surface, our team may use a lighter method instead.

Will my move be completed in a single day?

Many relocations in and around Coorparoo can be finished in one day. Larger moves, interstate jobs and moves with more detailed access requirements may need extra time.

What happens if my belongings don't fit into a single load?

Accepted Answer

Your operations manager will gather details about your items and property access before the move, so the truck and crew can be planned with the right information.
If one load does not look suitable, we may recommend an extra truck or additional crew. If the move cannot be completed in one trip on the day, we will arrange another truck where available or return for a further load.

What items are you unable to move?

We are unable to move certain goods, including:

Commercial refrigeration units
Opened food items
Flammable materials (such as gas bottles, fuel, oil, and paint)
Items above 100kg unless the required conditions are met
