Local moves need at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a full refund of your deposit, and if that booking can be filled with another job in the meantime, your deposit may still be refunded. For interstate relocations, we ask for a minimum of 14 days’ notice to refund your deposit in full.
How much notice do Brisk need upon booking?
For local moves in Brisbane, we recommend booking two to four weeks ahead to lock in truck availability for your preferred date and time. Interstate moves need at least four weeks’ notice to make sure everything is organised properly.
If your move comes up at short notice and we have a truck free, we will always try to fit you in.
I don’t have time to pack, can you pack for me?
If your move is within Brisbane, our team can arrange packing on your behalf. For moves outside Brisbane, we can point you toward a trusted packing service provider, so speak with your operations manager about the options available.
Do I need insurance?
Our service includes transit insurance that covers your belongings if the vehicle is involved in a rollover or collision, although this does not extend to accidental damage or TV screens. If you want broader accidental cover, you will need to arrange comprehensive insurance ahead of your moving date.
This can be organised through CARTS Insurance before your move takes place. It gives you an added layer of cover on top of our standard transit insurance.
I want to take out insurance for the move, do I have to take it out with your provider?
Not at all. You are welcome to choose any insurance provider you like, and we are happy to offer a recommendation.
Will my home & contents policy cover the move or storage of my goods?
It might, depending on your policy. The best way to know for certain is to check directly with your insurance provider before your move.
Do you provide transit insurance, what does it cover?
Yes, our transit insurance covers total loss if the vehicle is involved in an accident, such as a rollover. It is included as standard on every move we handle.

Yes, we carry out interstate moves between Brisbane to Melbourne and from Melbourne to Brisbane, operating Monday through Saturday in both directions.
How far out of Brisbane do you travel?
For local moves, we service areas within 300km of our Geebung base for both pickup and delivery. If your move falls outside this range, contact us to discuss your options. Availability depends on scheduling at the time of booking.
